*YS Jagan to visit West Godavari, interact with Tobacco Farmers at Devarapalli auction Centre*

Tadepalli, August 3: YSR Congress Party President and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will visit West Godavari district on Wednesday (August 5, 2026) to inspect tobacco procurement at the Devarapalli Tobacco Auction Centre and hold a direct interaction with farmers. During the visit, he will review the ongoing procurement process and assess the prevailing situation faced by tobacco growers.

As part of the tour, YS Jagan will leave his residence in Tadepalli at 9:30 a.m. and arrive at the Devarapalli Tobacco Auction Centre at 10:30 a.m. He will inspect the procurement operations and interact extensively with tobacco farmers to understand the challenges confronting them.

During the farmers’ interaction, YS Jagan will discuss key issues including cultivation costs, remunerative prices, procurement practices, and the difficulties being faced by tobacco growers. He will hear their grievances firsthand and gather feedback on the issues affecting their livelihoods, with particular focus on ensuring fair returns to farmers and addressing procurement-related concerns.

After concluding the interaction with the farmers and reviewing the procurement process, YS Jagan will return to Tadepalli later in the afternoon.
