Tanuku, July 24: Former minister and YSRCP Regional Coordinator Karumuri Nageswara Rao slammed the Chandrababu Naidu-led coalition government for its dictatorial regime in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking at the YSRCP office in Tanuku, he decried the collapse of law and order, citing a brutal attack on his own convoy by Janasena rowdies near Tanuku Town Boys High School during his "Babu Surety - Mosam Guarantee" program.
The assailants vandalized his vehicle, desecrated YS Jagan’s photos, and created chaos for over 15 minutes while waving Hari Hara Veera Mallu movie and Janasena party flags. Karumuri questioned the safety of common citizens when even a former minister lacks protection, blaming the weakened police system.
He called the attackers’ actions psychotic, unprecedented in Tanuku’s history, and urged police to take strict action against the culprits, noting a complaint has been filed. Karumuri also recalled a past attack on his Attili home by coalition leaders during an MPP election.
"While Janasena leaders and workers claim to admire Pawan Kalyan, he suspends his own party members without even seeking an explanation when they question the injustices meted out by TDP leaders. Pawan Kalyan repeatedly stating that Chandrababu will remain CM for 15 years has become unbearable for his own party workers. Recently, when Tadepalligudem Janasena MLA Bolisetti Srinivas expressed his anguish over this issue, Pawan casually suggested that he could leave the party. This shows the level of respect he gives to his own Janasena workers. It is evident that he loves the TDP leadership more than his own party workers."
