Kona Raghupathi Files Nomination For The Post Of Deputy Speaker

Amaravati: YSR Congress Party MLA Kona Raghupathi filed his nomination for the post of Deputy Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Monday. He was supported by ten party MLAs who signed his party nomination papers. However, this morning, the speaker Tammineni Sitaram issued a notification regarding the election of the Deputy Speaker. Nominations for the election of the Deputy Speaker can be filed until 5 pm today. The deputy speaker is due to be elected at 11 am on the fifth day of the AP Assembly Session on Tuesday.
Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram released the Notification for election of Deputy Speaker of Andhra Pradesh on Monday. The Deputy Speaker will be elected on June 18 at 11 am, he said.
