Tadepalli, Sept 29: Former MLA and State President of the SC Cell, TJR Sudhakar Babu, strongly condemned the Chandrababu Naidu, who has reduced politics to mere diversionary tactics, showing no concern for the poor and middle-class families. Instead of protecting public welfare, he has handed over people’s medical colleges to private interests, betraying the very students and communities that needed them the most.
Reacting to public outrage against privatization, Chandrababu orchestrated offensive comments through actor-MLA Balakrishna inside the Assembly. “Balakrishna has been elected thrice as MLA, but how many times has he even attended the Assembly? When he insults Chiranjeevi on the floor of the House, why did chandrababu not stopped him. why did Pawan Kalyan remain silent? Why did Nagababu not speak a word? Even Minister Durgesh, who rose politically because of Chiranjeevi, failed to condemn. This silence exposes a larger conspiracy,” he remarked.
Sudhakar Babu stated that Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan together have conspired to politically isolate Chiranjeevi. He further demanded that Kamineneni Srinivas, who made derogatory remarks against Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, issue an unconditional apology.
Calling Pawan Kalyan’s recent “illness drama” and Chandrababu’s “visit spectacle” nothing but political theatre, Sudhakar Babu questioned: “If Pawan was really sick with fever, how could he come out to receive Chandrababu? These dramas cannot hide their anti-people agenda.”
Naidu–led coalition government leading to anti-people move to privatize the government medical colleges established by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He announced that statewide protests will be held tomorrow under the banner of the YSRCP SC Cell to safeguard public interest and social justice.
He asserted that YSRCP’s struggle will continue until the privatization of medical colleges is rolled back. “Chandrababu’s policy is clear: no to government medical colleges, yes to private profiteering. But we will not allow the dreams of lakhs of poor and middle-class students to be crushed. Until every medical college is restored to government control, our fight will not stop,” Sudhakar Babu declared.
Tomorrow, the SC Cell of YSR Congress Party will hold statewide demonstrations to protest this betrayal and to demand justice for the marginalized and aspiring youth of Andhra Pradesh.
