Chief Whip Gadikota Srikanth Reddy
Amaravati: Government Chief Whip Gadikota Srikanth Reddy said that the YSRCP government would bring in new bills that had the potential to rewrite the history of Andhra Pradesh Assembly.
He was speaking after the Business Advisory Council (BAC) meeting held under the chairmanship of Speaker Tammineni Sitaram on Wednesday. Stating that the YSRCP was conducting Assembly sessions in adherence to democratic norms, he alleged that the BAC meetings in TDP regime did not factor in the agenda sought by opposition parties for the topics to be raised in the Assembly sessions, but only set the agenda on the issues they wanted to discuss.
Reddy said that their government would not mind extending the number of working days for Assembly sessions if Opposition wanted to discuss people's issues. He objected to Chandrababu Naidu skipping the BAC meet, and said it showed how much he cared about
