Mylavaram: Former Lok Sabha MP and senior YSR Congress party leader, YS Avinash Reddy questioned the contribution of minister, Adinarayana Reddy to people of the region and state. He was addressing a meeting of YSRCP workers and booth level members here as part of the preparedness drive for assembly and parliament elections 2019.
Avinash Reddy also wondered as to what had happened to the proposed ACC Cements unit near Gollapalle. He asked whether farmer who had surrendered their land for solar units got compensation. The YSRCP leader pointed out that minister Adinarayana Reddy had failed completely in this matter. Both the minister and MLC were of no use to the people of the region or the state, he added.
The senior YSRCP leader pointed out that handloom workers would be provided assistance through handloom workers' societies as part of Navaratnalu. He assured the local people of employment generation in the area if YS Jagan comes to power.
Dr. YSR district women's wing president, Jinka Vijayalakshmi, Mandal convener, Chandrahas Reddy, party leaders and workers took part in the meeting.
