For Ramakrishna and Ramadevi, it was a sense of deja vu. This couple from Donnikota village in Anantapur district met YS Rajasekhara Reddy while he was Chief Minister and have treasured those memories carefully.
Their only son had a hole in his heart that needed to be corrected surgically. Coming as they are from poor economic background, they could not afford the cost of the treatment. But, the Arogya Sri scheme put in place by YS Rajasekhara Reddy came as a boon for them and they could get a surgery done on their kid. The boy is hale and healthy now.
On Saturday, Ramakrishna and Ramadevi came and met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is on his Praja Sankalpa Yatra in the district. They showed their photograph with late YSR and recalled the help done by the man of the masses. They told YS Jagan that YSR will live on in their hearts for ever. They also congratulated YS Jagan for embarking upon the Praja Sankalpa Yatra.
