Tadepalli, May 23: YSRCP has slammed the coalition government for its diversion tactics and targeting political adversaries and treating governance as an enterprise instead of a welfare state.

Speaking to media here on Saturday, Party MLC Lella Appi Reddy said the hiked fuel charges should be rolled back as promised during elections and took strong objection to Chandrababu calling names on YSRCP and its leadership.

The fuel charges were raised by TDP itself in the name of VAT and Amaravati development charges and during electioneering Chandrababu and Lokesh had promised not to hike fuel charges but after assuming office the prices were hiked and our agitation to roll back the prices has been a grand success.

The government should roll back the prices as the State has the highest fuel charges in the country.

He took strong objection towards Chandrababu targeting YS Jagan Mohan Reddy time and again and calling names only to divert the attention of the people. Normally it would be the Opposition that would raise issues and level charges against the government.

Here the case is reversed with the coalition raising old issues and giving colour and repeatedly propagating it from Chandrababu to down the line with no reason or reality.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has raised most relevant and people’s issues during the press conferences he held and highlighted the failures of the government. There is no response from the government to any of the issues raised by him and instead started attacking him and are resorting to character assassination.

It was Chandrababu who usurped the Party and power from NTR and backstabbing has been synonymous to TDP ever since he took over.

At least now Chandrababu should realise that the government is not a commercial enterprise but it involves the welfare of the people and he should immediately roll back the hiked fuel charges.
