YS Jagan condoles bereaved families over Kakinada fireworks blast

Tadepalli, Feb 28: Former Chief Minister and YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed profound shock over the tragic explosion at a fireworks manufacturing unit in Kakinada district. He described the massive blast as deeply distressing and said the loss of several workers in the incident has greatly pained him. Conveying his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, he prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured.

He termed the destruction of nearby houses due to the impact of the explosion as extremely tragic and demanded that the government take immediate steps to ensure the best possible medical treatment for all the injured. He called for a comprehensive investigation into the incident to ascertain the exact causes of the explosion and insisted that strict action be taken to verify whether safety protocols are being rigorously implemented in fireworks manufacturing units. He urged the government to adopt firm preventive measures to ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future.

YS Jagan further demanded that adequate compensation be announced for the families of the deceased and that injured victims receive immediate and advanced medical care.
