Pawan Kalyan caught stealing Jagan’s credit
Tadepalli, 11 December: YSRCP State Official Spokesperson Karumuri Venkata Reddy strongly condemned Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for repeatedly peddling blatant lies and shamelessly stealing credit for initiatives originally introduced by former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Speaking at the YSRCP Central Office, Karumuri said Pawan’s claim that the present government granted promotions to 10,000 Panchayat Raj employees is completely false, as the Divisional Development Officer (DLDO) posts were created under the Jagan administration through GO 674 dated 30 September 2020. He said the present government has merely dropped the letter “L” and renamed the same post as “DDO,” and yet Pawan is falsely projecting it as a new reform. Karumuri ridiculed Pawan’s “credit theft,” adding that no matter how hard he tries, the prize money for such theft will always go to Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh, who even claimed Amma Vodi as Lokesh’s idea. He further questioned Pawan’s self-proclaimed “Hindu protector” image, reminding that Pawan himself admitted to undergoing baptism, and yet never raised his voice when 40 temples were demolished during the 2014–19 TDP regime. In contrast, YS Jagan as Chief Minister initiated the construction and renovation of 3,800 temples under the SRIVANI Trust. Karumuri also accused the coalition government of dragging TTD into dirty politics and maligning its reputation by attributing corruption in 2015 shawl tenders awarded during Chandrababu’s term to the previous YSRCP government. He demanded to know why the same leaders remain silent about thefts in Simhachalam, Ahobilam, and Kadiri temples. He said Chandrababu and Pawan, driven by selfish political motives, are playing with the sentiments of millions of devotees by making false accusations and cheap allegations.
