Tadepalli, October 31:Former Minister Jogi Ramesh firmly refuted allegations linking him to the fake liquor case, reiterating that he has no connection whatsoever to the manufacture, supply, or sale of illicit liquor.
Addressing media at the YSRCP central office, he asserted that he has already explained his stand to the people and is fully prepared to face any form of inquiry. He reminded that he personally visited the illegal liquor unit in Ibrahimpatnam and brought visuals before the public to expose the menace, adding that the ruling establishment could not digest his stand against the mafia, hence the deliberate attempt to frame him.
He  stated that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh have targeted him out of political vengeance, attempting to damage his reputation and character. He demanded a CBI investigation to ensure transparency and challenged the government to accept his call instead of resorting to diversion politics. He expressed readiness for any scientific test, including lie detector and narco analysis, and even vowed to once again take oath at prominent temples with his family to prove his innocence.
He condemned the misuse of state machinery, stating that despite his name not being mentioned in the remand report, fake chats, videos, and fabricated narratives are being circulated while an accused is in custody. Calling it a dangerous trend, he appealed to SIT officials to act with integrity, reminding them that governments change but their responsibility to the Constitution remains constant. Justice will ultimately prevail, he remarked, assuring that both God and the people will stand with truth.
Jogi Ramesh concluded that he will continue to fight until the real culprits are exposed and law enforcement works without political interference.
