Chandrababu’s Rs. 11,000 Cr power scam exposed

Rajamahendravaram, May 6: Former MP Margani Bharat exposed a Rs. 11,000 crore power sector scam orchestrated by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu through exorbitant electricity deals with Axis Energy Ventures. 

Speaking to media here on Tuesday, Bharat stated that Naidu’s regime is looting the treasury and burdening citizens and vowed that YSRCP will fight for justice in the people’s court.
Naidu’s 11-month rule has made Andhra Pradesh a scam hub. His benami firms, Axis Renewable Energy Park Private Limited and affiliates, sell 100 MW of power at Rs. 4.60 per unit, India’s highest rate, which cost Rs. 440 crore yearly and Rs. 11,000 crore over 25 years. “Naidu loots the treasury for cronies,” Bharat charged.
In contrast, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s SECI deal secured 7,000 MW of solar power at Rs. 2.49 per unit, saving Rs. 1,10,000 crore over 25 years by beating the 2022-23 average of Rs. 5.13 per unit. Naidu, who called Jagan’s deal corrupt at Rs. 1.99 market rates, now buys power at double the cost. “How does Naidu justify Rs. 4.60?” Bharat demanded, exposing the yellow media’s lies with news clippings.
Naidu’s scams extend beyond power: Rs. 3,000 crore Visakhapatnam land sold for pennies in the Ursa scam, sand and liquor mafias, and negligence causing Simhachalam’s wall collapse (7 deaths), Tirupati stampede (6 deaths), and Tirumala cow deaths. “Naidu’s reign of chaos sacrifices lives and sacred values,” Bharat said. Electricity bills have doubled, with a Rs. 15,000 crore hike burdening citizens. SECI’s Rs. 3 per unit Reliance deal proves cheaper options exist, yet Naidu pays Rs. 4.60. “This demands a CBI probe,” Bharat insisted. “Naidu promised lower bills but delivered scams,” Bharat said, slamming Naidu for shielding allies while blaming officials for tragedies. 
“Andhra Pradesh deserves better than a regime that loots wealth and dishonors sacred sites.” YSRCP will mobilize protests to hold Naidu accountable, uniting people against his corrupt rule.
