Chandrababu spreading lies on Tirupati laddu
Hyderabad, Feb 7: YSRCP has demanded that Chandrababu publicly withdraw his remarks on the Tirupati laddu and said it was during the TDP term that flavour enhancers were used in ghee.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, former MP Margani Bharat said Chandrababu should withdraw his remarks that animal fat was used in the ghee for preparation of the Tirupati laddu, as it has hurt the sentiments of numerous devotees across the globe.
Even after national laboratories clearly gave reports stating that there was no animal fat in the ghee used by TTD, Chandrababu is still not retracting his remarks, which have whipped up passions.
Instead of apologizing, he went further and stated that toilet-cleaning chemicals were used in the ghee, and TDP leaders have gone on national media to level baseless allegations.
In fact, it was during the TDP term that large quantities of flavour-enhancing chemicals were used in the ghee prepared for laddus. There is clear evidence regarding the purchase of the flavour enhancers and the chemicals that formed the ingredients.
Chandrababu is in the habit of degrading God and using Lord Venkateswara for personal and political gains, he said.
It was during YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s term that the image of Tirupati spread across the country by building temples, while Chandrababu has a history of demolishing temples during Pushkarams.
It was YV Subba Reddy who moved the Supreme Court seeking a CBI probe into the alleged contamination of the Tirupati laddu, and the CBI has closed the investigation and filed a chargesheet in which it clearly mentioned that there was no animal fat in the ghee, contrary to Chandrababu’s claims.
Yet Chandrababu and his propaganda machinery have been leveling false allegations. Posters and hoardings were set up to demean political adversaries and drag God into controversy to score a political point.
