Chandrababu politicizing  trivial issues

Amaravati: With defeat staring into the eyes, TDP leadership is trying to politicize every trivial incident and the signature tune of the Opposition Party can be seen very clearly in the Macherla incident where they wanted to create trouble and eke out publicity from it.

Speaking to media here on Thursday, MLA K Parthasarathi said, Chandrababu has to answer as to why TDP leaders Bonda Umamaheswara Rao and Budha Venkanna went all the way to Palanadu in fleet of cars defying the election code.

The speeding vehicles had hit a physically challenged person, which enraged the locals who attacked the vehicle while they were fleeing. ‘’It is a clear case of hit and run and when they were mobbed TDP, known for its manipulative skills, started telling that they were attacked and they are fearing for life.’’

They claimed that they have come to lodge a complaint in police station as if there are no leaders in the district and it was their convoy that has terrorized locals and not the other way round.

During local body elections, small incidents do take place but the manner in which TDP is projecting that their cadre is not being allowed to file nominations is wrong and tantamount to mudslinging. To put the record straight for 9696 MPTCs, as many as 33,600 nominations were filed. Similarly, for 652 ZPTCs, almost 4000 nominations have been filed. If what TDP is claiming true, how can there be so many nominations and there is a contest in many places which shows that TDP candidates have filed their papers. Chandrababu Naidu is only trying to create a scene fearing the big defeat ahead.

It was during TDP rule that elected MPTCs of the YSRCP were kidnapped and party leaders Mustafa and Ambati Rambabu were attacked brutally by the goons of the TDP at Medikonduru in Guntur district. Why did Chandrababu Naidu didn’t speak about it, the MLA asked.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has brought election reforms to curb the use of liquor and money and wanted to have peaceful elections. But Chandrababu Naidu with his evil intentions is trying to create unrest among the State and shift the blame on government.
