Chandrababu hurting Tirumala devotees’ sentiments for politics; laddu issue is a manufactured conspiracy to divert attention: Sajjala

Tadepalli, Nov 11:  YSRCP State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy strongly condemned Chandrababu Naidu for once again hurting the sentiments of millions of Tirumala devotees for selfish political gain. He said Chandrababu launched a false campaign on “adulterated ghee” only to divert public attention from the massive YSRCP rallies scheduled tomorrow against the privatization of new government medical colleges.
Sajjala stated that Chandrababu deliberately spread blatant lies and falsely briefed even a few national media houses to malign YSRCP and former TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy. He said complaints regarding Bolebaba’s ghee quality were received during YV Subba Reddy’s tenure, and he promptly blacklisted the company after lab checks. The same leader is now being targeted purely because the conspiracy is aimed at damaging YS Jagan and YSRCP.
Referring to the SIT remand report, Sajjala noted that after Chandrababu assumed office, TTD EO Dharma Reddy was removed in June, and Shyamala Rao was appointed. Subsequently, tanker samples sent to NDDB in July were rejected and the same tankers returned again in August and were allegedly used for ghee production. “The questionable ghee tankers came only during Chandrababu’s rule, not during ours. How can YSRCP be blamed?” he asked.
He also questioned the logic in the allegation that “ghee was made without milk and only with chemicals.” “If there was no real ghee at all and only chemicals were used, how did thousands of staff and lakhs of devotees fail to detect it? Could such laddus even stay stable without real ghee?” he asked, calling the allegations absurd and politically staged.
Sajjala pointed out that NDDB’s March 27, 2025 report, eight months after Chandrababu came to power and after his own public remarks in September, found palm oil, palm stearin, and palm kernel oil mixed in samples. “The report clearly falls under Chandrababu’s rule. How can responsibility be shifted onto YSRCP?” he asked.
He reminded that YSRCP purchased ghee at Rs. 319/kg, whereas Chandrababu’s government procured it at Rs. 273, Rs. 276, Rs. 279, Rs. 295, and Rs. 285. “By their own logic, lower prices mean more adulteration. If so, did Chandrababu procure highly adulterated ghee?” he questioned.
Sajjala emphasized that this entire drama was scripted inside TTD offices and celebrity handles were used to push a pre-drafted narrative. He recalled how the government brushed aside the death of devotees in the Kashi Bugga temple incident by calling it a “private temple,” yet today sheds crocodile tears over TTD laddus.
He also questioned the silence of Pawan Kalyan, saying he speaks only when Chandrababu instructs him and conveniently avoids answering tough questions.
Sajjala demanded a CBI inquiry if Chandrababu is confident. “Why put state officers into SIT if you are honest? Why weaponize faith and hurt devotees?” he asked. He said the truth is clear: the remand report does not mention adulteration during 2019–24, and YSRCP strengthened TTD labs to their highest standards in history.
He asserted that Chandrababu is using religion as a political shield while genuine issues like beef openly sold in the state under his rule are ignored by those claiming to protect Sanatana Dharma. He concluded that people clearly see this as a diversion tactic and Chandrababu’s conspiracy will collapse before truth and devotion.
