Chandrababu diverting RLI issue

Tadepalli, Jan 10: Reiterating that Chandrababu has been resorting to diversion politics by raking up the Amaravati issue while he was supposed to answer the Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation (RLI) fiasco and the secret deal with his Telangana counterpart who spilled the beans in the Assembly.
Speaking to media here on Saturday, Party Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said when the cat is out of the bag with Revanth Reddy’s remarks Chandrababu Naidu should answer the main issue of RLI which was raised by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Instead, TDP and its publicity machinery started a loud campaign on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s remarks on Amaravati, only to relegate the RLI issue. There is no need for him to run away from Hyderabad which was announced a joint capital for ten years and only reason being his name being mentioned in the cash for vote case.
He should be categorical on RLI and state whether or not he talked to Revanth Reddy on the issue and endorse his remarks or simply deny them. Instead he and his people started raising the Amaravati issue which was told to national media on the sidelines of the press conference which was held to expose Chandrababu’s silence on Revanth Reddy’s remarks.
The issue raised by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is a genuine concern as Chandrababu did not do justice to the farmers who parted with 50,000 acres of land in the first phase and is seeking another 50,000 acres of land in the second phase.
He has been talking tall and the grandiosity has no substance as he plans to build Secretariat in a space of 50 lakh sq.ft. which is hyperbolic. The Parliament itself is 7 lakh sq.ft. while Telangana Secretariat is 10 lakh sq.ft. The larger the area, the larger the corruption in the form of mobilization advance.
While YS Jagan Mohan Reddy preferred Vizag as the seat of power without ignoring or degrading Amaravati, as he built his house before the 2019 elections, Chandrababu has been using Vizag for commercial purposes and floating Amaravati as capital to mint money though there is no boom in land value.
He has been draining the money in the name of Amaravati by paying exorbitant rates to his own favoured contractors and it has become the mother of all scams.
When Telangana is drawing 9 TMC water daily from Srisailam from 777 feet itself how can Rayalaseema get water and Chandrababu failed in questioning the neighbouring state. The financial indiscipline of Chandrababu is out as he raised more than Rs 3 lakh crores in less than two years while YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has raised 3.30 lakh crores in five years of which 2.73 lakh crore was given as DBT, he said.
