  • YS Jagan’s Jala Deeksha for the benefit of AP
  • Harish Rao’s provocative statements are condemnable
  • Attacks on YSRCP offices are unfair: Nalla Surya Prakash, Konda Raghava Reddy

Hyderabad: YSRCP Telangana committee demanded answers from Telangana Government and minister Harish Rao for the questions posed by the leader of opposition in AP and YSRCP president YS Jagan during the Jala Deeksha he staged in protest against the unlawful projects being built by the Government of Telangana. It questioned the statements delivered by minister Harish Rao in a threatening tone regarding repeat of Manukota incident. It demanded immediate resignation of Harish Rao for making illicit statements disturbing social peace, being in the responsible position of a minister. TYSRCP national general secretary Nalla Surya Prakash and the party’s official spokesman Konda Raghava Reddy spoke to the media at the party’s central office in Hyderabad.

They demanded issue of white paper regarding the projects initiated under YSR’s tenure. They insisted on release of the details of budget allocations made by post-YSR Congress Government and TRS Government for the projects. They condemned attacks on YSRCP offices in Mehboobnagar and Hyderabad. They demanded action against the assailants.

Is this monarchy?: Nalla

Nalla Surya Prakash questioned if CM KCR and Harish Rao were under the impression that monarchy was existent. He slammed Harish for delivering threatening statements like Manukota incident would repeat, in spite of being a responsible minister and having sworn on the constitution. He demanded Harish Rao’s resignation for quitting political ethics. He confronted the justification behind Harish Rao’s provocative statements instead of answering YS Jagan’s questions. He condemned the attack on YSRCP office in Mehboobnagar and knock down of flag poles.

White paper is required to be given on projects

Konda Raghava Reddy demanded a white paper from the Government on the projects initiated under the tenure of Dr.Rajasekhar Reddy. While 6 of the 36 projects initiated in Telangana by YSR were completed, 9 were under construction and 21 were said to be partially completed. Now with a sanction of Rs.10,000 crore, the incomplete projects also were said to be completed and irrigation was said to be possible for 49 lakh acres additionally. But their completion would offer credit YSR instead of TRS. So the Government had simply chosen to set them aside, complained Raghava Reddy. He mentioned that YS Jagan had taken up Jala Deeksha because the projects now initiated by TRS Government would cause great loss to AP state.

He condemned Harish Rao’s warning over not answering the straightly posed questions. He mentioned while answering a question that ministers and MLAs were resorting to throwing money and buying votes at the time of elections. He condemned the attacks that had been attempted on YSRCP office at Hyderabad in the name of JAC.
