Hyderabad, Nov 28: Reiterating that
Chandrababu Naidu has no moral right to criticize YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, YSR
Congress has said that after the cash-for-vote case, the TDP President has been
abiding by the terms of Telangana Chief Minister.
‘The tone and tenor of Chandrababu Naidu
had mellowed down drastically after the cash for vote case and he is following
the directions of his Telangana Chief Minister to save his skin and the pact
was brokered by Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu,’ party spokesperson Ambati
Rambabu told reporters here on Saturday.
Chandrababu Naidu who boasted that he
would utilized the joint capital for the full term of ten years has suddenly
disappeared and started functioning from elsewhere and is not staying more than
three days in the joint capital, this has been the practice only after the cash
for vote scam. He has entered the Secretariat after a gap of 88 days
With such a background, Chandrababu
Naidu has no moral right to criticize YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who has been boldly
facing the charges and the issue has been in court, he said and demanded the
Telangana Government take immediate action against Chandrababu Naidu in the
cash for vote case.
‘The TDP leader has no moral right pass
remarks on a section of media as it amounts to gagging the freedom of press.
Media has the right to criticize the government and intolerance only shows the
guilt of the person who tries to scuttle the freedom of press,’ he said.
In the past even Chandrababu Naidu has
tried his hand out through proxy with this son as head of a news channel which
did not do well under his leadership.
The party had also criticized the TDP
Government for ill-treating the Anganwadi workers who are on strike for the
non-implementation of the just demands of pay hike. The Government has assured
that the hike would be given with effect from September but did not
materialize. We demand that the Anganwadi workers’ demands be met immediately,
he said.
