YSR Congress asks Naidu to move no-confidence

Hyderabad, Nov 12, 2012: YSR Congress party today demanded the opposition Telugu Desam Party to introduce no-confidence motion against the Kiran Kumar Reddy Government saying the Government has slipped into minority following the MIM’s withdrawal of support to it.

Party spokesman Ambati Rambabu and MLA G. Srikanth Reddy told media persons here that Naidu should seize the opportunity now and teach a fitting lesson to the Government by introducing no-confidence motion as he has been telling day in and day out in his padayatra that the Government has been taking anti-people decisions.

While the 7-member MIM has withdrawn support to the Congress government, some more congress ministers and MLAs have also served a deadline to the Congress leadership threatening they would quit Government if their demands are not met, Rambabu said, adding Naidu should take advantage of the situation.

Reacting to the comments of TDP leader Muddu Krishnama Naidu and PCC chief Botcha Satyanarayana, Rambabu said their reactions have clearly proved once again that both the parties are hand in glove. “TDP has ruled out no-confidence motion while Congress says there is no threat to the Government. Is it not a conspiracy?” Rambabu has asked?

Rambabu and Srikanth Reddy said if Naidu is not ready to introduce no-confidence motion, he should accept the fact he has been acting as an advisor to the Government.

People totally disenchanted

Srikanth Reddy said that people are totally disenchanted with the Government as it has failed on all fronts and has been imposing additional burden on people with power surcharges and new taxes every day, Srikanth Reddy observed.

If Naidu is sincere in his criticism of Kiran Government, he should respect the people’s sentiments and introduce   no-confidence.
