TDP double standards exposed: YSRCP

Hyderabad, October 12:  The double standards of TDP had come to the fore once again with N Chandrababu Naidu criticising the ruling Congress in course of his Padayatra who had earlier assured that he will not move a no confidence motion while the Assembly is session, YSR Congress has said.

“We challenge ChandrababuNaidu if he is prepared to convince people that he will bring back the governance of his nine-year rule as  we are going to people assuring that we will bring back YSR golden era,” Party spokesperson Vasireddy Padma told reporters here on Friday.

Taking strong objection to TDP leaders saying that our Party has been using the no-confidence motion issue as a blackmail tool, she said, on one hand Chandrababu Naidu has been going hammer and tongs against the State Government and on the other he had given an open assurance that he will not move no confidence motion.

“This double standard will be exposed during the Padayatra our Party will be undertaking and force the main opposition party, which has the numbers, to move the motion in the assembly or tell people that he is working in tandem with Congress as the two things do not go together. He should either criticise the State Government or agree to move a no confidence motion,” she said.

The Padayatra of Sharmila and other family members are to undertake will focus on people’s problems and with an assurance that YSRCP will bring back the golden rule of YSR.  Chandrababu Naidu also has the same opportunity and whom will people believe has been noted earlier and will know in the days to come, he said.

Being part of the conspiracy of trying to keep YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in jail to the maximum possible time, by joining hands with Congress, Chandrababu Naidu has no moral right to speak against Congress government unless he concedes to our demand of obliging to move a no confidence motion, she said.

The secret pact between Congress and TDP has helped Chandrababu Naidu in coming out of many legal tangles and in turn he has been on a Save Congress mission. His meeting with Central Ministers, Prime Minister and a legal luminary has no proper explanation. So is the fact that CBI has not even questioned him in the Emaar Properties case so far, she said.

TDP leaders seem to be very scary of Sharmila’s Padayatra and have been speaking in frustration and tagging the blackmail shade to our demand that the no confidence motion should be moved by the main opposition party.

In a separate press conference, CGC member Mareppa and SC Cell Convenor, N Surya Prakash said, SCs benefitted most during YSR term. Krishna Madiga of MRPS has been a social activist and has been fight for categorization of SCs.

If he intends to support Naidu, he can do so as a political activist but not in the garb of a social activist, they said adding that Madiga community is with YSRCP and the recent by-polls is an indicator. Krishna Madiga has been changing stances too often.
