YSRCP women’s wing takes out protest rally

Hyderabad, April 22, 2013: YSR congress party women’s wing on Sunday organized a rally on the Necklace Road here holding candles protesting against the gruesome rape incident of a 5-year old girl in Delhi.

Speaking on the occasion, party women’s wing president Kolli Nirmala Kumari criticized the Congress-led UPA Government for its failure to protect women in the country and to prevent recurring atrocities on women and girls.

“If you can’t administer the country, get out of Government,” she said, lamenting the lack of proper security for women in the country.

The party women’s wing leaders demanded the Government to award severe punishment to perpetrators of crime against women.
