YSRCP on course of concrete action plan

Hyderabad, May 10, 2013: YSR Congress Party on Friday decided to take up burning issues dogging the people and continue to fight on their behalf with renewed vigour and determination to find solution to them.

At a meeting of the party’s political affairs committee ( PAC) chaired by honourary president Smt. Y.S. Vijayamma at Lotus Pond here, the leadership has decided to take several steps to further strengthen the party at the organizational level.

The meeting takes place within a day of Smt. Vijayamma’s announcement on Thursday that the party would continue to work for people under the direction of party chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The PAC, attended by D. A. Somayajulu, Konatala Ramakrishna, Bajireddy Govardhan and others, also discussed the issue of local body elections and the proposal of conducting the Odarpu Yatra in Telangana.

Ramakrishna and Govardhan told reporters that it has been decided to hold an extended meeting of the party soon to take some important decisions. “Besides deciding to continue to fight on behalf of people and highlighting the public issues, we have also decided to hold an extended meeting of the party soon wherein party MLAs, MLCs, district conveners and leaders of all affiliated organizations will also attend,” Ramakrishna and Govardhan said.

Saying that Smt. Vijayamma will also have more interactions with people through Rachchabanda programmes, they said she will soon undertake a visit to the Chevella-Pranahita Project site.
