Hyderabad, March 12: Affirming that there is a historic need for the people of the state to bring YSR Congress to power in the next general elections, Party leaders said it is high time that the anti-people policies of Chandrababu Naidu are rejected outright to pave way for the golden era of YSR.

Speaking at the Foundation Day function here on Sunday Party leaders asserted that YSRCP will win the 2019 elections hands down as people are fed-up with the TDP polices and the corrupt practices of Chandrababu Naidu and after seeing the term of YSR who has balanced welfare and development with tangible results, they are longing for the return of the golden rule.

Party MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy said we have completed six years and have entered the seventh year and we have to firmly resolve that we will fight the corrupt practices and anti-people polices of Chandrababu Naidu tooth and nail and at the same time we should be slack and there is no room for any laxity.

‘We congratulate Prime Minister Narender Modi for the stupendous victory in Uttar Pradesh and at the same time we also remind him that his promise of Special Category Status (SCS) should be honoured and he should keep up his promise. Chandrababu Naidu has almost forgot the issue and at least the Prime Minister should honour the promise he made on SCS.

Chandrababau Naidu’s malpractices, lack of principles and morals and manipulative skills have come to fore when he has lured 21 of our MLAs and two MPs to his side using all methods and such practices are a mockery of democracy. People are waiting to teach him a fitting lesson,’.

Chandrababu talks tall on moral values and democracy but lacks all of them. He even tried to manipulate local bodies elections where he has no majority. Prakasam, Kadapa, Kurnool and Nellore have been our bastion which tried to usurp.  He has no moral values and lost the right to head any democratic institution.

‘ On this occasion, I remind you that YSR Congress is the future and youth in large numbers are being attracted towards the party and they want to see YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as Chief Minister after the 2019  elections as democracy and moral values are at stake, The Party emulates YSR and will tread in his footsteps’ he said.

MLA RK Roja and Lakshmi Parvathi said that YS Jagan Mohan has been with the people all the six years while Chandrababu Naidu has been running away from them. We are proud to be in the party under the leadership of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Our leader becoming the Chief Minister in 2019 is a certainty and no one can stop the party surge, they said.

While YSR has given welfare schemes and love for the poor as a legacy to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu has been passing on corruption and manipulative skill to his son Lokesh, they said.

‘We have to resolve to work hard and ensure a thundering victory for the party in the coming assembly elections,’ they said.
