YSRCP on the rise on Facebook

Srikakulam, July 25, 2013: YSR Congress Party, which enjoys immense popularity among the people of Andhra Pradesh thanks to the credibility of its Chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, is also now popular on the social networking portal Facebook.

YSRCP, which opened its official account on the Facebook just four months ago, has earned 1,16,000 fans which is a record going by the fact that no other regional party across the nation has got such a huge number of followers.

Compared to the national political parties, YSR Congress Party stands fourth while the BJP, Am Admi Party and Nationalist Congress Party have secured first, second and third positions with a fan-following of 10, 78, 510, 2,47,396 and 1,25,000 respectively.

YSR Congress party has been attracting fan-following on the Facebook not only from AP and other states in India but also from across the four corners of the globe.

Party IT wing convener Challa Madhusudana Reddy, along with his team members, called on Smt Y.S. Sharmila at Donkalaparty in Amudalavalasa assembly constituency on Wednesday and explained the features of party’s profile on the Facebook.
