Reiterating the party stand and the points raised by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the Open Letter, YSR Congress has said that it has strong objection to the remarks of the TDP leaders and minister and firmly believe that the land was forcibly acquired and the extravaganza is uncalled for.

Stating that some of the TDP leaders have used a language which is shameful in a civil society, party senior leaders  said that they condemn the remarks and the derogatory words. Besides extravaganza and mortgaging the Telugu pride to Singapore companies. They accused that the Chandrababu Naidu government is carrying out its commercial agenda which we are strongly opposing.

They recalled that it was Dr. YS Rajsekhar Reddy who had the big heart to attend Chandrababu Naidu's swearing-in ceremony at Raj Bhavan after the 1999 elections while the TDP President did not accompany Kiran Kumar Reddy to the Chair after he was elected speaker in 2004, he said brushing aside the remarks of intolerance which is on the contrary imbibed in TDP.

They made it clear that they are not against the capital formation but are against the method in which the land is being pooled and the contracts are awarded. Chief Minister's remark that the Leader of Opposition along with all the people of the state is invited to the programme shows the arrogance of the Chief Minister, they said.
