YSRCP flays TDP on personal remarks

Hyderabad: Flaying TDP for the personal remarks, YSR Congress has said that the Save Democracy Day was observed as the Chief Minister himself has been taking opposition MLAs into his party which is nothing short of heckling at the democracy.

‘We have the same stand on defection but TDP has been maintaining double standards while it is crying foul in Telangana it has been blatantly encouraging defections and Chandrababu Naidu who is the Chief Minister himself has been personally luring and inviting people into his Party which is a shameful act in parliamentary democracy,’ Party Farmers Cell President MVS Nagi Reddy told reporters here on Sunday.

Some of the MLAs who switched over went on record that they were being lured and pressure was on to move to the other side and when we highlighted this by observing Save Democracy Day, TDP leaders are sacred and have been resorting to personal attacks.

Criticism need not be on a personal level and people are vexed with the anti-people and anti-farmer policies of Chandrababu Naidu, who is very much afraid of going to polls hence has been trying to shield the defectors, he said.

While the state is facing severe drought no action has been taken by the government to come to the rescue of the farmers in distress and when it comes to input subsidy, Chandrababu Naidu has refused to pay it in retrospective effect but for industrialists subsidy was paid from backdate as there are kickbacks.

Such policies will spell doom to the TDP while YSRCP is with the people and our leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been taking up public issues, he said.
