YS Jagan attacker made 1000 phone calls

YSR Congress party (YSRCP) leader Iqbal said that the 10,000 calls from the mobile phone belonging to Janipally Srinivasa Rao, who had attacked Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Visakhapatnam Airport, was an indication to the organised plan behind the attack. Speaking at a press conference here , he said that the attack should be considered as a high-profile case and that actor Sivaji was trying to distort the truth with his lies.

Iqbal urged that the police should take suo motu cognizance on the matter as the police personnel were present at the spot in the airport. "The police, instead of being alert at the time of the incident, are speaking irresponsibly now. DGP Thakur's announcement even before taking over the case is creating doubts in the minds of people. The police need to inquire whether the accused is a professional killer or a canteen worker who is posing as a follower," he said.

The YSRCP leader further said that the TDP leaders were trying to showcase the accused Srinivasa Rao as a follower of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Chandrababu's comments on the attack were in bad taste and are unfortunate, he added.

The police need to carry out a comprehensive probe in all aspects and come up with the truth behind the incident, he demanded. Watch this space for more updates on YS Jagan attack.
