Vijayamma decries Naidu's promises

YSR Congress honourary president Smt. Y.S. Vijayamma said today the conspirators are trying to foil the attempts of party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to get bail.

Speaking to newspersons at Kadapa, Vijayamma said CBI has been filing charge sheets against Jagan whenever the party thought he would get bail.

She said Chandrababu Naidu has destroyed all democratic institutions and neglected people’s welfare during his regime. “Chandrababu proudly claims he was the king maker during the NDA regime but why did he neglect the welfare activities?” she asked.

Taking a dig at Chandrababu’s statement that he will remove all belt shops if he comes to power again, Vijayamma said it was Naidu who first introduced the belt shops in the state and people would not forget this.

Speaking about the Maro Praja Prasthanam being undertaken by her daughter Sharmila, she said all participants of the Yatra will partake in it wearing black badges as it is meant for highlighting the people’s issues.

She asked all fans of YSR and party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to wear black badges while participating in the Yatra.
