Vijayamma congratulates Ravuri Bharadwaja

Hyderabad, April 18, 2013: YSR Congress Party honourary president Smt. Y.S. Vijayamma congratulated the veteran octogenarian writer Ravuri Bharadwaja on his winning the prestigious Jnanpith Award.

“Laying foundations to several Telugu literary concepts, Bharadwaja rose to the Himalayan heights in Telugu literature from humble beginnings. Working on various literary forms, he had abundantly enriched the Telugu literature,” she said.

Ravuri’s All India Radio speeches too were full of social conscience and his winning the country’s highest literary award is a matter of pride for all Telugus, Smt. Vijayamma said in a statement.
