Vijayamma dares Naidu to face probe

Eluru, April 17, 2014: YSR Congress party honourary President Smt Y.S. Vijayamma has challenged the TDP President Chandrababu Naidu to face probe into the scams of his 9-year regime if he has any guts and wits.

Addressing a series of YSR Jana Bheri public meetings in several villages of Chintalapudi and Gopalapuram constituencies of WG district Wednesday evening, Smt Vijayamma said Naidu avoided CBI probe into his plethora of scams by approaching courts and getting the probe stayed.

“After his indulgence in Eleru scam, liquor scam, scholarship scandal, fake stamps scam and gifting away lands worth thousands of crores of rupees to his benamis for nominal rates, Naidu is now trying to hoodwink you with impracticable promises,” Smt. Vijayamma told people.

She recalled that Naidu had pushed 54 public sector undertakings into losses and then sold them away to his benamis at throw-away prices sending nearly 26,000 employees onto the roads.  “850 acres of land in the heart of Hyderabad city, worth Rs.16,000 Cr now, was gifted away for peanuts to IMG Bharata. With what face you are coming to the people to seek votes now?” she asked Naidu.

YS Sharmila: We will bring back the welfare state

YSR Congress Party leader Smt. Y.S. Sharmila told people that YSRCP, after coming to power, would usher in the YSR welfare state and implement plethora of welfare schemes for the benefit of people as in YSR regime.

She was addressing a series of YSR Jana Bheri public meetings in dozens of villages in Sattupally, Vyra and Madhira constituencies of Khammam district on Wednesday.

“Only YSRCP can bring back the YSR welfare state under the able leadership of Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy,” she told them amid wife applause.
