TDP politicizing non-issues

Hyderabad, Dec 7: YSR Congress has flayed TDP for tying to gain political mileage out of non-issues in wake of the demonetization and trying to bring in the Opposition leader’s name into needless and baseless allegations.

Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, party senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana said ‘the IDS scheme has been reduced to a mockery with many a hoax unfolding and TDP has been trying to take political mileage even where there was no issue.

The recent revelation of two names who disclosed huge amounts under IDS have turned out to be other than the intended purpose and TDP leaders trying to implicate our leader to eke out political mileage shows their shallow mindedness.

‘Our Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had earlier written a letter to the Prime Minister Narender Modi to reveal all names of those who had disclosed amounts under IDS as Chandrababu Naidu and TDP leaders were trying to politicize the issue and implicate political opponents, he said.

Chandrababu Naidu who staked claim for the demonetization suddenly changed tune and with the prior knowledge has swept his house clean and had unloaded large number of shares owned by his family company days before the Prime Minister’s announcement of pulling out higher denomination notes, he said.

TDP has been trying to make a vain bid to blame the opposition whenever there has been a disclosure of large amount which is just a political gimmick. Chandrababu Naidu has been facing charges of large scale corruption. Irregularities in land allotment in capital area to Singapore companies stand out as an example of his commercial mindset without taking into account the hardships people are facing due to cash crunch and non implementation of poll promises, he said.

The remark of Prime Minister on the deposits in Jan Dhan Yojana is not in good taste, he said and urged the TDP government to shun from trying to politicize IDS scheme which has boomeranged on various occasions.
