TDP leaders worried about losing in upcoming elections

Anantapur: Thopudurthi Prakash Reddy, YSRCP Convenor, Rapthadu, Anantapur criticized Minister for Women Empowerment & Child Welfare Paritala Sunitha for making baseless allegations against the YSRCP Chief and Leader of the Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. That the attack was a pre-planned drama on himself to gain sympathy from the people is completely baseless and it was quite clear as to who the main perpetrator was, he said.

He also questioned as to why the TDP was afraid of a CBI enquiry and calling the attack as a publicity stunt within an hour from the incident shows how low the TDP party leaders can stoop. Speaking to journalists in the YSRCP office in the district, Prakash Reddy said it may be recollected that the CBI investigated late Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy in connection with the Paritala Ravi murder case and he never objected to the enquiry. What does it indicate when the language used by the TDP leaders that they would ''mince them '' if they had the opportunity to do so, he questioned further.

It appears that the TDP leaders were worried about losing in the upcoming elections and planned the attack to eliminate YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and he was lucky that he escaped the attack. Prakash Reddy further alleged that the TDP was trying to mislead the case and confuse people but they have failed in this attempt, he said.
