New Delhi: The petition filed by YSR Congress Party on the party defection scenario existing in the state of Andhra Pradesh came to trial in the Supreme Court today. The party had requested the disqualification of defecting MLAs in its petition. The Supreme Court adjourned the trial for a week. Chandrababu bought 20 of YSRCP MLAs unethically by enticing them with money and positions.
Chandrababu raised curtain for the slaughter of democracy by ignoring the promises made to people. The speaker of the assembly who was supposed to be impartial to the parties also chose to stay indifferent to the unethical act, mocking the constitution. In light of this, YSRCP had filed the petition with the Supreme Court for the disqualification of the defectors.
