Shift Assembly Secretary, Now!

Hyderabad, Oct 24: Welcoming the court admitting the petition questioning the educational qualifications of Assembly Secretary, YSR Congress has said that Chandrababu Naidu has been showing nepotism and throwing caution and established norms to wind. 

‘We have asked the educational qualifications of the officials in the Assembly and wrote letters to all concerned but I could not get the details. Chandrababu Naidu has handpicked his own candidate who is not even a graduate for the august post of assembly secretary,’ party MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy told reporters here on Monday. 

The service rules clearly mention that the person holding the highest administrative post in the Assembly must have a degree in Law but Chandrababu Naidu has appointed his favoured person who has just studied Intermediate which is mockery of parliamentary democracy. 

There were many letters written to the Governor, Chief Minister, Assembly Speaker and Chief Secretary on the issue but there was no response which is very unfortunate and then I had moved the court, he said adding that he could not get the relevant information even through RTI. 

‘The House has been running under the administrative control of such unqualified person and I demand that the Assembly Secretary should be replaced immediately and action should be taken immediately,’ he said.
