Sharmila takes a day’s break from Padayatra

Gudivada, April 8, 2013: Smt. Y.S. Sharmila took a break from Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra on Monday as she left for Kadapa following the death of Smt. Somamma, maternal grandmother of YSR Congress Party honourary president Smt. Y.S. Vijayamma.

The news reached Smt. Sharmila when she was in the midst of a Rachchabanda Programme at Jonnapadu in Krishna District Sunday afternoon. After concluding of the Rachchabanda programme, she left for Kadapa to pay homage to Somamma.

Padayatra coordinator Talasila Raghu Ram said Smt. Sharmila will resume Padayatra on Tuesday as usual.
