Sharmila lashes out at Cong

Vempally, Oct 19, 2012: YSR Congress Chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sister Sharmila lashed out at the Congress leadership for listing her father YSR’s name in the CBI FIR.

“This is the gift given by the Congress high command for father YSR who served the party for more than 30 years. YSR named all welfare schemes after Rajiv Gandhi showing respect to his family but my father was rewarded with this FIR,” she told a public meeting at Vempally at the close of the first day of her Yatra.

She said her brother Jagan was jailed on false charges and Congress party high command has not cared to help the families of more than 600 persons who died following the sudden and tragic death of YSR.

While Congress Government has given up all the welfare schemes of the YSR regime, TDP has not thought of introducing the no-confidence motion against the Congress Government in the state which is not functioning at all.

“My brother Jagan, even in jail, is thinking of people’s welfare and their problems,’ she said amid a thunderous applause.
