Vizianagaram: A corruption of worth Rs.150 crore had happened in the Neeru-Chettu programme taken up by the TDP Government, complained YSRCP’s district leader Majji Srinivas Rao. He demanded immediate vigilance probe on the irregularities taking place in the programme. He spoke to the media in the party office of the district. He stated that the yellow leaders had swallowed Rs.150 crore in Vizianagaram and Parvathipuram areas.

Srinivas Rao mentioned that a TDP leader in the district had forged the signature of an executive engineering officer and pocketed the funds. He questioned why the collector had not taken action against him even after this came into light. He informed that YSRCP had already taken the TDP leaders’ robbery into the notice of the vigilance officers.

Party leader Yadla Ramana spoke to comment that development was nowhere to be seen in Vizianagaram constituency. He said that it was ridiculous to publicise that urban development was tremendously happening with cabinet minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju, MLA Meesala Geetha and municipal chairman Prasadula Ramakrishna.

Participating in the meeting were YSRCP leaders Pilla Vijay Kumar, youth wing state secretary Avanapu Vijay, leaders Uppu Prakash, Gadu Apparao, Pinninti Chandramouli, Pilaka Srinivas, Karumajji Sai Kumar among others.
