Naidu's Dharma Poratam is backstabbing

Khammam, May 3, 2013: Smt. Y.S. Sharmila, who has been undertaking Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra on behalf of YSR Congress chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, has dubbed TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s talk of Dharma Poratam as a devil quoting the scriptures and said the meaning for Naidu’s rhetoric of Dharma Poratam is backstabbing.

Addressing a huge public meeting at Eenkuru in Khammam district during the course of her Padayatra on Thursday, she said Naidu’s assertion he has not been running after power has no credence.

“If somebody says the earth is not elliptical, do you believe? The same is the case with Naidu’s assertion he has not been running after power,” she said, taking a dig at him.

She recalled that Naidu had backstabbed his father-in-law NTR and got the NTR Trust Bhavan land registered in the names of his family members. “But he has been asking his party men to sell their properties and work for the party,” she said in a sarcastic vein, adding his rhetoric is like the devils quoting the scriptures.

Smt. Sharmila said that it has been once again proved beyond any doubt that CBI is a puppet in the hands of the Centre with the latest episode of the CBI director’s affidavit on the progress of the coal scam investigation.

Notwithstanding, Chandrababu Naidu has remained silent on the issue as he has conspired with the Congress leadership to avoid CBI investigation into the allegations he has been facing, she said. Referring to the Union Minister Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy’s statement that YSRCP chief should join Congress to get bail, she said the Minister’s assertion also proved the conspiracy behind the arrest and jailing of Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy.
