Naidu protected anti-people Cong Govt

Khammam, April 16, 2014: Asserting that TDP President Chandrababu Naidu had not implemented even a single welfare program for the people during his 9-year term as Chief Minister, YSR Congress party leader Smt Y.S. Sharmila has said he is again coming to the people seeking votes with false promises.

Addressing YSR Jana Bheri public meetings at   Pinapaka, Bhadrachalam and Aswaraopet in Khammam district Wednesday evening, Smt Sharmila said Naidu has all these years shouldered the responsibility of protecting the anti-people Congress Government in the state.

“Naidu should have taken the Congress to task for its anti-people policies but he protected it all the while. He also didn’t implement any welfare program for the people during his term. Can he dare to come before people and seek votes saying he will bring back his rule?” she thundered amid wife applause of the people.

Appealing to people to remember their beloved leader YSR and vote for the fan symbol in the ensuing elections, Smt. Sharmila advised people to be beware of the false promises of Chandrababu Naidu.

Naidu regime full of scams: Vijayamma

YSR Congress Party honorary president Smt. Y.S. Vijayamma also came down heavily against Chandrababu saying several scams marked his 9-year regime.

She was addressing a series of YSR Jana Bheri public meetings as part of the party campaign in eleven villages including Gannavaram, Nuziveedu of Krishna district on Tuesday.

Referring to the retired bureaucrat PC Parekh’s book ‘Crusader or Conspirator’ in which he revealed that he asked Naidu not to privatize the Nizam Sugar Mills as it would bring the then AP Government a loss of Rs.308 Cr, Smt. Vijayamma said Naidu went ahead with the privatization and handed over the company to the party leaders despite his advice.

“No one benefitted except for TDP leaders during his regime,” she told the people and asked them to teach a fitting lesson to the party.
