New Delhi, Oct 10, 2013: YSR Congress Party on Thursday asked the Congress leadership and the Centre to roll back its decision to bifurcate the state as Congress leaders including state ministers, MLAs, Union Ministers of Seemandhra area and CM are dissatisfied with the decision of the Centre.

“No one is satisfied with the bifurcation move and it shows that the decision of the Congress leadership is not wise and positive. So, the decision must be rolled back,” party senior leader Dr. M. V.Mysura Reddy told reporters in New Delhi.

Mysura said that the party delegation led by their honourary president Smt. Vijayamma had met leaders of national and other parties over the last two days to enlist their support for keeping the state united.

“Most of the parties including CPM and DMK stood by us and supported our view that state must be kept united while both BJP and CPI leaders told us they would also fight for equal justice for both the regions of the state in the formation of Telangana,” he said.

Dr. Mysura said the Group of Ministers on Telangana (GoM) is consisting of members from the Congress core committee and Cabinet and would only toe the Congress line. “We are not sure of the GoM doing justice to all in this regard.”

He found fault with Congress leaders Digvijay Singh and Home Minister Shinde for releasing only selective portions of letters written by YSRCP to the Centre for throwing mud on the party.

“It is not fair for them,” he said expressing his dissatisfaction.
