Bapatla, Oct 8, 2012: YSR Congress Guntur district unit Minority Cell Convener Sayyad Mahaboob said the development of minorities is possible only under the leadership of Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy, son of the late YSR.

Speaking to reporters at the office of the party central governing council member Kona Raghupathi here on Sunday, Mahboob said YSR understood the problems of Minorities during his Padaytra and later introduced four per cent reservations for Muslims when he became the CM.

“YSR thought the development of Muslims is possible only through their education and introduced the four percent reservation. Muslims can again get this facility if Jagan becomes the CM,” he observed, adding all Muslims are behind Jagan in his struggle.

Raghupathi recalled the welfare schemes introduced by the late YSR and said people are expressing their solidarity with YSRCP president Jagan as he is the only leader who can bring back those welfare measures.
