Saluru (Vizianagaram dist), April 2, 2014: ‘No poor man in the state would be left homeless by the turn of 2019. During these five years housing for poor will be taken up on massive scale and 5o lakh houses would be built as dreamt by late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy’, promised YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy here on Tuesday while addressing a large gathering of people as part of YSR Jana Bheri.

Enlarging his five commitments made earlier, Jagan vowed to uplift the poor and middle class with five more promises aimed at their all round development. Apart from taking up massive housing for the poor and homeless, he promised to give a complete facelift to Aarogyasree scheme to ensure every district head quarter will have a super specialty hospital to make them accessible for the poor. 'Unlike at present, I will ensure all farmers will get quality and uninterrupted free power for 7 hours during day time," he said.

Jagan Mohan Reddy announced that all liquor vending belt shops would be removed from the state and women police appointed in each village. He said that all measures would be taken to provide jobs to the educated youth. .

Taking Chandrababu Naidu head on, the YSRC chief exposed the emptiness in Naidu’s poll promises. "It has become a habit to Naidu to make tall promises and ignore them totally after usurping power, "  he said questioning his sincerity about poll promises to one and all. Jagan asked Naidu what stopped him to implement them during nine years of his rule.

Jagan said that Naidu has been speaking out of his hat as he is old and this would be his last election. "He has been doling out impossible promises but I cannot do that as I am 25 years younger to him and I have to be in public life for 30 more years."
