Jagan: I will build 50 lakh houses

Tagarapuvalasa (Visakha Dt), March 28, 2014: Assuring people that he would strive to build houses for the under privileged after coming to power, YSR Congress Party president Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy asked people to bless him in the forthcoming elections.

Addressing a mammoth YSR Jana Bheri public meeting at Tagarapuvalasa in Visakha District Thursday evening, he said he would build 50 lakh houses in the five years for the underprivileged in the society. “YSR built 48 lakh houses during his regime of five years while in the rest of the country 47 lakh houses were built. I assure you I will construct 50 lakh houses by 2019 at the rate of 10 lakh houses each year so that poor people will have good shelter,” he told the people.

Saying he doesn’t like to make false and non-practicable promises to people like Chandrababu Naidu, Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy told people he would only make implementable promises. “I assure you that I will build a beautiful city like Singapore in Seemandhra in the next five years after coming to power,” he promised, adding that people should elect a leader who thinks of their welfare and development.

Reiterating that he would bring administration to the door step of people for making the welfare benefits available to them, Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy said Naidu’s promises are sham. “Don’t believe his fake promises. In fact, Naidu should be jailed for misleading people with false promises.”
