Kurnool: YSR Congress party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made promise that he will resolve all the problems being faced by contract workers in Andhra Pradesh. The workers met YS Jagan at Gonegandla in Kurnool district during his padayatra and explained their woes in the Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu's government.
They told the YSR Congress Party chief that the government was not paying minimum wages to the works in the municipal administration department. They were also denied other facilities like health insurance etc.
YS Jagan assured them of addressing their problems soon after his party come to power in 2019 elections.
Contract and regular teacher union leaders also met YS Jagan and explained their problems. He made promise that the contributory pension scheme will be abolished and also pay salaries regularly to the contract teachers once he assumed CM office.
