Conspiracy To Kill Mudragada
- Satyagraha Padayatra shall continue
- We shall stand beside Mudragada
- Kapu community shall not tolerate police atrocities
- Ambati Rambabu slams Chandrababu
Guntur: YSRCP’s official spokesman, Ambati Rambabu, criticised that the TDP Government was conspiring to eliminate Mudragada Padmanabham, the leader fighting for Kapu community’s rights and the promises done by the Government. Reminding how TDP Government had taken the life of Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga earlier, he cautioned that the attempts to suppress the movement using the police force would not be tolerated. Ambati made it clear that the attempts to hinder Mudragada’s Satyagraha Padayatra at Ravulapalem citing security reasons could not stop it.
Mudragada has YSRCP’s support
Mudragada’s Padayatra and Kapu community would have YSRCP’s support, mentioned Ambati, reminding YSRCP president’s statement from earlier. He added that along with YSRCP, other party leaders and intellectuals would also support the movement and warned that it would not be tolerated if the Government conspired to suppress with the help of the police.
Ambati condemned the arrest and harassment of innocent youngsters from Kapu community in light of Tuni arson. Revealing how labourers had been beaten up by the police in a mill beside Mudragada’s residence and the mill had been seized by TDP leaders, he reminded how the police had physically assaulted the family members of Mudragada while he was peacefully staging deeksha at his house after breaking into his house and dragging him to the hospital and called it a shameless act.
We are only asking you to keep your promises
Reminding Chandrababu’s promise of joining Kapu community to BC category in a way that other BCs were not affected, Ambati slammed his going back on it and questioned if it was wrong to ask him to keep it. He criticised Babu for trying to create disparities between BC and Kapu communities and stated that the movement was started only after the time limit indicated by Babu to realise his promise had been over. Ambati also stated that the promise of sanction of Rs.1000 crore had not been touched. He questioned if change of DGPs and Home Ministers would change the law. He warned that the Government could not obstruct the strong movement of Kapu community and suggested that it should try to realise its promises rather than conspiring to hinder the struggle.
