Congress drawing sadistic pleasure: YSRCP

, Oct 29, 2013: The Congress high command is trying to slice the state of Andhra Pradesh with the swords of Antony Committee, GoM and the Task Force Group for its sadistic pleasure of drawing votes and seats.

YSRCP spokesperson Roja told media persons here that it is very unfortunate that the Centre has rushed its task force team to the state to speed up the bifurcation instead of sending a central team of officials to study crop and property losses caused by the floods.

“The speed with which the Centre is moving over bifurcation in utter disregard of the peoples’ aspirations and the near three-month long Seemandhra agitation reveals that the state is being made the sacrificial goat for the sadistic pleasure of Congress which is determined to have votes and seats at the cost of the people’s lives here,” she observed.

First, they have appointed Antony Committee but the GoM has been constituted without the former completing its work, she said and commented: “Even without the GoM submitting its report they have now been rushing through the Task Force. Where is the necessity for it now when Sri Krishna Committee had already submitted a detailed report?”

She said the Congress leadership has embarked on a mission to gain votes in Telangana by banking on its bifurcation decision on one side and to gain political mileage in Seemandhra by trying to project CM Kiran Kumar as a champion of the unified state on the other. It is all because of TDP president Chandrababu Naidu who had given his letter of support for bifurcation, Roja remarked.

Saying that Kiran Kumar has been making futile attempts for being branded as an integrationist championing the cause of united AP, Roja said people have already come to know of his double standards.

In fact, Kiran Kumar is not at all eligible to become the CM of state, she fumed. Mocking at TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu’s offer to announce waiver of farmers’ loans for farmers if his party comes to power, she demanded him to publish a white paper on waiver of loans announced during his 9-year regime.

Roja said Chandrababu Naidu and other TDP leaders are plagued by Jagan phobia and are making baseless allegations against him day in and day out. “It is not Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy who lost the mental balance. It is Chandrababu Naidu who lost his mental equilibrium.”

Reacting to Congress leader JC Diwakar Reddy’s remarks, she said one should find out from him why he is making false allegations after he failed to get promises on tickets for his brother and son for MP seat and MLA seat respectively from a political party.

Rejecting the TDP allegations that Congress supported the Samaikya Sankharavam public meeting and arranged trains to carry people, she said thousands of people attended Gujarat CM Modi public meeting at and asked: “People came to hear Modi by 23 trains. Can you say that Sonia arranged the trains as Modi conspired with her?”
