Kadapa, Aug 12, 2013:  YSR Congress party senior leader and political affairs committee member Dr. M.V.Mysura Reddy accused the Congress leadership of dividing the state of Andhra Pradesh just for achieving 10 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana area.

He told reporters at Erraguntla near here on Sunday that Congress had resorted to bifurcation of the state with a view to get seats and making Rahul Gandhi next Prime Minister.

“Seema Andhra people will suffer heavily with the division of the state,” he said, adding the bifurcation of the state would bring more problems to the Seema Andhra area.

He said the Congress leadership has appointed the high power committee under the chairmanship of Union Minister A.K.Antony after the Seema Andhra people have intensified their agitation opposing the division.

“We will get serious water problems after the division,” he said, asking the Centre to come out with a concrete proposal first before moving further with the division. “Union Minister Chidambaram, who is from Tamil Nadu, is on a mission to divide AP into pieces and bits,” he alleged.

Earlier, he had visited the Deeksha camp along with MLC Narayana Reddy and expressed his solidarity to the agitators.
