Babu should reply to dalit MP, others
Hyderabad, April 18: YSR Congress has
said that its stand of Chandrababu Naidu’s aversion towards weaker sections has
been vindicated with TDP leaders openly firing salvo after salvo expressing dissent
over the style of functioning of the leadership.
Speaking to reporters here on
Tuesday party senior leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said: ‘TDP Dalit MP
Siva Prasad Rao who is considered to be a close associate of Chandrababu Naidu
has fired the salvo against the leadership on Ambedkar Jayanthi questioning the
priorities and policies of the TDP leadership vis-à-vis dalit welfare.
Instead of replying to the questions raised by the Chittoor MP, the Party leadership has been mulling on disciplinary action showing its awkward face. In the cabinet expansion as well a dalit woman minister who was ranked high on performance was shunted out which shows the mindset of the leadership towards dalits. The various questions raised by the TDP MP should be answered as it concerns dalits of the state and their welfare right from sub-plan to filling up of vacancies to land distribution.’
The BCs and Kapus are also daggers drawn
against the leadership and seniors like Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy, Gali
Muddukrishnama Naidu, Payyavula Kesavalu, Chintamaneni Prabhakar, Butchaiah
Chowdhary, Bonda Uma and others have been questioning the style of
functioning of the leadership, he said.
We have raised all the issues which TDP leaders have been racking up now which include corruption and neglect of various sections and they have come true with MPs, MLAs and former ministers too speaking the same.
It is pertinent on part of the Chief
Minister to reply to the questions raised by MP Siva Prasada Rao and other
senior leaders on dalit, BCs and Kapu issues, he said.
Chandrababu Naidu has failed as Chief Minister and as president of the Party but has only succeeded as a father in promoting and elevating his son, he said.
