YS Jagan’s Family Pays Tribute To YSR At Idupulapaya 

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, his wife Bharathi, sister Sharmila and mother YS Vijayamma were among those who paid tributes to late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy. The family held a special prayer meeting to mark the birth anniversary of Dr YSR.

The family members, well wishers and a few party leaders offered floral tributes at Dr YSR memorial at Idupulapaya.

Dr YSR was killed in a helicopter crash in Nallamala forest due to inclement weather on September 2, 2009. The wreckage was found on RudrakondaHill near Kurnool. All five people on board were dead.

Dr YSR was a people's leader and a darling of the masses for he is synonymous with welfare schemes that alleviated the suffering of the poor. His schemes are being emulated to this day by several other states. His son YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is walking in his footsteps and striving to bring back the golden rule of YSR in Andhra Pradesh again by introducing people-friendly schemes.
