TDP spreading canards

Senior YSRCP leader Dharmana Prasada Rao

Srikakulam: Senior YSRCP leader Dharmana Prasada Rao said that the Leader of the Opposition in AP assembly and YSRCP chief, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had clearly stated that the welfare of the people of Andhra Pradesh was of paramount importance to him.

Speaking to the media in Srikakulam , Dharmana said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was fighting for the cause of Special Category Status for the past four years and that he was only concerned with fulfilling the promises made by the Centre during the state's bifurcation.

Criticising the Telugu Desam Party leaders' negative attitude and comments about the meeting between YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the TRS working president K T Rama Rao, he said that the TDP was indulging in unnecessary false propaganda and spreading canards. He also made it clear that that the YSR Congress Party would fight the coming elections alone and will not join hands with any party or alliance.

He criticised Chandrababu for aligning with the BJP at the time of bifurcation of the state and dissipating the fight for SCS and then taking a U turn and asking for a package deal. If there was no one to question the Centre about the SCS or the package then who should the people go to for help, he questioned. If Chandrababu had the guts he should reveal the details about the land agreements made for the development of the capital city in Andhra Pradesh, Dharmana concluded.
